In last 24 hours we've had more than a few PayPal orders for which we are not getting a VALID response when we post back the IPN variables. Now suddenly it's happening for quite a few orders.
Is someone else facing this issue? Can someone please confirm this?

In my test today both Live/Sandbox I have not been able to reproduce any invalids just from regular payments. Have you been able to determine anything about the transactions such as, if they are all domestic or international or if the customer are checking out through PayPal accounts versus if they are credit card transactions and so on? I would also like so see the information for the invalids you are getting. You can PM me some of the transaction ID's if you like and I'll give them a look over. You can also PM be the url to where the buttons are located and I will take a quick look at them to see how the payments are set up. Also, kzap, it looks like you have other post here, you can also include the trans IDs of the "blank" shopping cart purchases you mentioned. |

Thanks for the update. I'll see what I can find out from this and those tran IDs your sending. In the mean time check the cmd and url value for the post back. Normally you are only going to get a html returned if the url is bad or the cmd is incorrect or if there is site maintenance but since it sporadic its hard to say. I'll keep testing and get back with you on what I find.
